3-LAYER speaker cone utilizing 3K carbon fiber skins on the top and bottom, sandwiched between 4 mm thick aero-space foam core.
Custom CS design rubber surround edge with structural ribs used to prevent distortion at high amplitude.
Custom CS design CONEX-MIX spider with high dampening capabilities is used to prevent over excursion of the cone and surround edge, thus making the Apollo 12" highly efficient and responsive in producing low frequency soundwaves.
Designed for high amplitudes with low distortion.
